Project Will Add 21 Positions in West Bend

MADISON – Governor Scott Walker today announced a state award for an expansion of Discount Ramps.com, LLC, in West Bend, Washington County, which is expected to lead to the creation of 21 new full-time jobs.
“The expansion of DiscountRamps.Com is great news for the company and for the local economy,” Governor Walker said. “With private sector job growth as my top priority, I’m thrilled that my administration was able to play a key role in this success story.”
Discount Ramps.Com, LLC, plans to invest $880,000 to reconfigure an existing building and add additional space, allowing them to consolidate four other locations in the one building in West Bend. The company will be eligible for an allocation of up to $50,000 under the economic development tax credit program administered by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
Discount Ramps.Com, LLC, was established in 2000. The company is an on-line retailer of loading, hauling, and transport products. Discount Ramps.Com purchases and markets primarily aluminum ramps and hauling accessories for the military, commercial, recreational, industrial, and disabled markets using the internet and U.S. government outlets.
