New store concept features largest selection of guns from all manufacturers in the industry

ST. PAUL, MN, November 9, 2011 — Gander Mountain will present another pioneering development in the firearms industry with the opening of the first Gun World store in Germantown, WI. Called the nation’s “ultimate gun store,” Gun World by Gander Mountain is a new 30,000 square-foot retail outlet featuring upwards of 5,000 guns of all kinds, and firearms specialists on duty to give shoppers more one-on-one service.

The first Gun World store is located at the junction of US Highway 45/41 and Lannon Road in Germantown and will celebrate its grand opening Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 12-13. Grand Opening events and specials include giveaways of $10 gift cards to the first 100 visitors on Saturday, free Gander Mountain hats to the first 250 shoppers to make a purchase on Saturday and Sunday, and a drawing to win a pair of $500 gift cards. In addition, retired Green Beret Greg Stube will be on hand to meet shoppers and sign autographs from Noon-3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Stube is the host of “Coming Home with Greg Stube” on The Sportsman Channel.
Gun World features the largest and most impressive selection of firearms found anywhere, from shotguns, handguns and rifles to the most advanced sporting tactical firearms.
