Green Bay, Wis. – Engineering and environmental consulting firm GAI Consultants expands its Midwest operations by acquiring Wisconsin-based EnPower, LLC.
GAI’s latest acquisition extends its services to a total of 21 offices across 10 states in the Midwest Northeast, and Southeastern U.S. Currently a 750-person, multidiscipline firm, GAI has more than tripled its presence in the United States during the past decade, serving clients in the energy, transportation, real estate, water, municipal, government, healthcare, education, and industrial markets.
“GAI and EnPower are a great fit of clients, staff, and cultures,” offers Andrew Nelson, former EnPower president and Senior Director of GAI’s Wisconsin Operations. “The Midwest is a vibrant region with a lot of opportunity, and I’m excited to share our experience and bring new capabilities to our clients.”
Located in Green Bay and Mayville, Wis., EnPower is an energy and environmental firm whose key clients are involved in electric transmission and generation. With staff now in Wisconsin – an area with significant demand for energy infrastructure development – GAI plans to pursue electric transmission, gas pipeline, petroleum, and renewable energy work.
