PORT WASHINGTON, WI – November 3, 2011 … Franklin Energy Services LLC, a leading national energy efficiency services company based in Port Washington, WI, received second place in the medium category (101-1000 employees) of The Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers Awards program.

The Healthiest Employers Awards program recognized 27 southeastern Wisconsin employers who have gone above and beyond when it comes to promoting the health and wellness of their employees. Participating companies were ranked according to how they answered survey questions that measured their wellness program across six key categories – culture and leadership commitment; foundational components; strategic planning; communications and marketing; programming and interventions; and reporting and analysis.

Franklin Energy’s corporate-wide Wellness Committee is led by Tina Semotan, Vice President of Human Resources and Organization Development, and focuses on educating and providing employees with resources for success. The Committee has organized a Bike to Work Day, promotes participation in local group events and creates company-wide wellness competitions.

The Healthiest Employers of Southeast Wisconsin were recognized for their achievements at the awards luncheon, held on October 28, 2011 in Milwaukee.
