Foth – Cedar Corporation Agreement Creates Opportunities for Growth and Enhanced Services
GREEN BAY, Wis. (February 1, 2011) — Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC, a Green Bay-based professional engineering and consulting firm, has forged a strategic alliance with Cedar Corporation, a Menomonie, Wisconsin-based professional engineering and consulting firm.
The agreement, finalized January 28, will result in greater breadth and depth of resources available to serve both firms’ clients and will create opportunities for both of our companies to grow, according to Tim Weyenberg, CEO of the Foth companies.
Cedar Corporation will expand its current professional engineering services base beyond their existing location in Menomonie to include two new locations in Green Bay and Madison, focusing on municipal clients who require outside engineering assistance on a regular basis.
Under the agreement, a number of Foth’s clients and seven Foth staff members who serve those clients have transitioned to Cedar Corporation.
Foth will expand its existing infrastructure business by offering more specialized water and wastewater services as well as transportation services to select geographic markets in Wisconsin and the Midwest. Foth will also assist Cedar Corporation in meeting their municipal clients’ specialized water and wastewater needs.

The two firms have successfully collaborated on municipal infrastructure and wastewater projects over the past three years. The alliance formalizes that relationship.
