Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corp.: Names interim president

Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC) has named Kristen Fish, CEcD, of Redevelopment Resources, the interim president while the search continues for a new president of the organization.

Fish will assist during the transition following the departure of FCEDC President Brenda Hicks-Sorensen, CEcD. Hicks-Sorensen has accepted a position as vice president of economic and community development for the newly created Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

Fish is a managing partner of Redevelopment Resources, LLC, which provides development and redevelopment solutions to business, organizations and municipalities. Fish was also recently named the executive director of Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA), a 400-member organization serving as a collective voice for economic development in the state. She has also served as assistant community development director and business development director for the City of Wausau.

Fish, who will work limited hours, will start at FCEDC Wednesday, June 15th. She will also assist with the search for a new president.
