WASHINGTON, DC – Jan Koepsell, Founder and co-owner of Expedition Log Homes, Oostburg, WI, officially began her one-year term as Log Homes Council (LHC) President at the 2011 International Building Show in Orlando, Florida. The LHC is a council of the Building Systems Councils (BSC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) – a trade association that represents the log, concrete, modular and panelized building systems industries. Koepsell was also named to the 2011 BSC Board of Trustees.

“Jan has a notable record of service to the Log Homes Council,” said BSC Chairman Harry Junk. “Her dedication to advancing and sustaining the log homes industry and her commitment to working to achieve her goals will serve her well as she assumes the duties of President.”

Since becoming active in LHC in 2002, Koepsell has served on several committees and chaired the membership committee before accepting a leadership position in 2008 on the LHC Steering Committee and the BSC Board of Trustees.
