MILWAUKEE — The Madison and Milwaukee based law firm of Dewitt Ross & Stevens today announced that Michelle M. Friedman joined the firm as its Director of Marketing and Business Development.

Friedman focuses her areas of expertise in communications, marketing, business development, public relations and strategic planning. She is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and has contributed guest articles on legal marketing to the Wisconsin Law Journal. Prior to joining Dewitt Ross & Stevens she worked at Quarles & Brady LLP for seven years as a client development manager and at Davis & Kuelthau for 3 years as its marketing director. She is a proud veteran of the United States Army Military Intelligence Corps where she served as a non-commissioned officer and Arabic Linguist.
Friedman graduated magna cum laude from the American University in Cairo where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications. She also earned her linguistic certification in Modern Standard Arabic from the Defense Language Institute-Presidio of Monterey. She is a resident of Mequon, Wisconsin.
