MADISON/MILWAUKEE – The law firm of Dewitt Ross & Stevens S.C. today announced attorney Jodi E. Jensen joined its Government Relations team.

Prior to joining the firm Jensen served as Chief of Staff to the Assembly Majority Leader and Assembly Speaker and also as a member of the Department of Administration’s executive staff and Governor’s legal staff. She has expertise in planning and effectively implementing every aspect of a public policy advocacy agenda, from researching to lobbying and from public relations to grassroots strategies.
Jensen has experience developing and passing laws related to all aspects of state government including tax, economic development, health care and education policy. She assisted in the development of Governor Scott Walker’s Executive Budget, Capital Budget and Budget Conference Committee Reports. Additionally, she has extensive experience with modifying statutes and administrative rules related to energy infrastructure and participating in dockets at the Public Service Commission.
Jensen will be based in the firm’s Madison office where she will focus on Government Relations, Administrative Law and Campaign Finance and Elections Law. She earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
