MILWAUKEE – The law firm of Dewitt Ross & Stevens S.C. today announced attorney David J. Hase joined its Brookfield office and its Litigation Practice Group.

With more than 40 years of experience, Hase concentrates his practice in general business litigation, securities, and regulatory matters before federal and state trial and appellate courts, administrative agencies and arbitration panels. He also practices in the area of school law representing charter school administrators, parents and students. He has a background in government where he served as Legal Counsel to the Governor of Wisconsin and as Wisconsin Deputy Attorney General. In addition, he served as an elected member of a Milwaukee area local school board and currently serves as a member of the Frank L. Weyenberg Library of Mequon – Thiensville Board and on its Foundation board.

Hase received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his J.D., with Order of the Coif honors, from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he also served as Editor-in-Chief of Wisconsin Law Review.
