The Friends of Indian Lake will be holding their second annual fund-raising Fun Run event at Indian Lake County Park on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 8 a.m. to noon. Monies raised from last year’s event are being used to restore trails and native vegetation at the Park.
Indian Lake County Park, located on Highway 19, is a favorite place to view fall colors. Park patrons who would like to visit the park on Saturday for fall viewing or hiking may want to wait until the afternoon.
The dog exercise area will be closed from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
For those participating in the event, please consider car-pooling to the Park as parking will be limited.
