On Monday, August 15, Dahl Automotive of La Crosse will be hosting the Strictly Business After 5 Event for the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce along with a Grand Opening Celebration of the new Dahl Auto Museum at 711 South 3rd Street, La Crosse.
Mr. Kenneth M. The presentation will begin at 6pm followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony. Mr. Czubay will be available for interviews immediately following the presentation.
The Dahl Auto Museum will include an illustrated timeline of the Dahl Automotive 5 generation history with the Ford Motor Company. Another pictorial timeline will be used to inform guests about the history of the automobile. Approximately 20 antique and classic cars will be on display to highlight each decade from Dahl Automotive’s inception in 1911. To incorporate historic La Crosse, the museum will also feature a re-creation of the Starlite Drive-In Theatre.
“This museum is a walk through time and a walk through historic Wisconsin,” said Andrew Dahl, “The educational components will show the value of the automobile history as well as represent Dahl’s dedication to our community. Our hope is that the museum will be a central community place for decades to come in La Crosse.”
In celebration of 100 years in business, Dahl launched its Charity of the Month program in March 2011 to conclude in August 2011. The Dahl Family Foundation matched each dollar donated at the automotive service locations in La Crosse, Onalaska and Winona. With each vehicle purchased, an additional $25 was contributed to the charity of the month.
