MADISON, Wis. – Core BTS, Inc. (Core), a company that provides business technology solutions to a wide variety of industries, has promoted three of the company’s veterans.
Walter J. Cook II assumes the duties of Chief Executive Officer. Cook is a co-founder of the firm, as well as a previous Chief Financial Officer and board member. Former Executive Vice President of Sales Teri Bruns has been promoted to President, and Bryan Bechtoldt, most recently Core’s Chief Technology Officer, will now serve as the Chief Operations Officer.

Both Bruns and Bechtoldt will continue to oversee the sales force and technology teams respectively, in addition to taking on their new responsibilities.

“Core needs strong and innovative leaders to guide the company through this ever-evolving industry,” says J.D. White, Chairman of the Board of Core. “We have been blessed with those leaders in the past, and we are fortunate once again to have those people in place to guide our future growth.”

Former CEO Frank Albi, who guided the company through a merger with Inacom in 2009, resigns his post at Core to pursue other opportunities. The new leadership team is being established as Core continues to strengthen its market position and expand its offerings. The change is effective as of June 27th.
