Burger Boat Company: Announces Chicago’s Leading Lady nominated for award

Manitowoc, Wisconsin, U.S.A. – Burger Boat Company is pleased to announce that CHICAGO’S LEADING LADY, a 98’ steel passenger vessel for Chicago’s First Lady Cruises, Chicago, IL, has been nominated for a WorkBoat magazine Significant Boats of 2011 Award. The winners will be announced during the 6th Annual Shipyard Day Awards Ceremony on November 30, 2011 at the International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans.

CHICAGO’S LEADING LADY is styled after the 1920s luxury cruising yachts such as the former Presidential yacht “Sequoia.” CHICAGO’S LEADING LADY is used for upscale private parties, wedding rehearsal dinners and corporate events, as well as, serving as an official vessel for the Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruise.

The vessel was designed by Seacraft Design LLC, Sturgeon Bay, WI and was built by Burger Boat Company Manitowoc, WI located on the western shore of Lake Michigan between Milwaukee and Green Bay.
