MADISON, Wis., September 8, 2011

Wisconsin’s “Next Generation Jobs Legislation” will be announced today by Senator Van Wanggaard and Representative Dale Kooyenga at BioForward’s 2011 Bioscience Vision Summit.

“Wisconsin has a level of innovation that other states strive to attain. This initiative will sustain and grow that base to the next generation level,” said Bryan Renk, Executive Director of BioForward.

“From entry-level lab technicians to PhD’s, we are confident that the Next Generation Jobs legislation will spur additional job growth in our sector across Wisconsin. This legislation will capitalize on our strong bioscience foundation statewide and encourage a new generation of entrepreneurs, scientists and researchers to stay and thrive here in Wisconsin.”

The live announcement is scheduled for 1:00 PM at the Madison Marriott West. Press is encouraged to arrive no later than 12:45 PM. For more information on this event, please contact Bryan Renk (brenk@bioforward.org or 608-236-4693).
