American Speed Association: Scag Power Equipment runs laps with the ASAMT

SPONSOR SIGNS AS TITLE SPONSOR FOR ASA MIDWEST TRUCK TOUR

The American Speed Association® Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and GrandStay Hospitality is proud to welcome back Scag Power Equipment as a sponsor for the 2011 season. Scag is excited to be a part of the ASAMT again. They are looking forward to showing some of their innovative new products, including the all-new Scag Cheetah zero-turn riding mower, “The Fastest Cat on Earth.”

Scag Power Equipment is known and respected throughout the commercial power equipment industry for their innovation and attention to quality. Founded in 1983, Scag Power Equipment has become the largest independent manufacturer of commercial grade mowing equipment in the country. From its original gear-drive rider, to over 50 high-performance models today, Scag products continually set the benchmark for commercial-grade mowing equipment.

“We are very excited to get back in step with our partners at the ASAMT and its loyal fans,” said Chris Frame, Director of Marketing and Technical Services. “The ASAMT and Scag are a great fit for each other. Our partnership is an excellent avenue for Scag to reach its existing customer base, as well as potential new customers,” Frame said. “While the series is obviously based in the Midwest, it is amazing to see the reach it has. Reps have reported to us about seeing or talking with ASAMT race fans in places as far away as Florida.”

“We are especially excited about becoming the title sponsor for the ASA Midwest Truck Tour beginning in 2011. This will provide us with an incredible opportunity to connect with the race participants and fans like never before. It truly is going to be an exciting year.”

“It’s great to see companies like SCAG coming back strong in an up and down economy. They see the value in what the Tour can bring to the table with our B2B (Business to Business) programs, our very loyal fan base, and our new marketing midways at all of our events,” Vice President of the ASAMT, Steve Einhaus said.

Scag recognizes that all of those involved with the ASAMT, including its fans, are as hard working and passionate about racing. Scag Power Equipment can cut mowing time in half when compared to a typical yard tractor. Less time mowing equals more time to enjoy racing and other hobbies or projects.

Scag products are made in the USA by its parent company, Metalcraft of Mayville, a family-owned business with facilities located in Mayville and West Bend, Wisconsin. “ASA fans can be proud to know that Scag makes the best commercial-grade mowing equipment money can buy, and it’s made close to home by hard-working folks, just like themselves. That’s something we can all be proud of. When it is time to replace their lawnmower, we want them to take a serious look at Scag.” added Frame.
