American Speed Association: Contingency relationships continue to prosper in 2011

The American Speed Association® Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and GrandStay Hospitality is happy to announce the return of Schaeffer Oil Products as a contingency sponsor in 2011.

“Schaeffer Oil has really stepped up their involvement in 2011 and will aggressively be promoting new innovative racing products to our teams this year. I believe they see the value in promoting their products in the ASAMT and that has helped them develop an aggressive approach in getting teams on their products with great performance results,” said Steve Einhaus, ASAMT Vice President.

As one of the many contingency sponsors, Hauser prides himself on Schaeffer’s commitment to providing teams with products that they can use in their race cars, and in their diesel haulers that transport the cars and crews to every ASAMT event.

Chris Hauser, proud representative of Schaeffer Oil Products, is more than just a representative; he is a huge fan of the sport of auto racing. “The ASA Midwest Tour is by far the most well-rounded, successful racing series in the country and the competition level is like no other,” added Hauser.

“This series gives me a great opportunity to showcase the historical success of Schaeffer Oil Products by giving the racer supreme engine protection and performance at a much lower cost. Our products are proven, and my objective is to work directly with the racers and educate them on making the right decisions to protect their investments.”

Founded in 1839, Schaeffer Manufacturing Company has grown to be the largest manufacturer of fuel additives in North America. With over 60 million in sales, the company attributes its success to product quality and exceptional service. Schaeffer is a family-owned business with over 400 sales reps nationwide and 10 large warehouse facilities located throughout the United States to insure all customers’ needs are met in a timely fashion.

One of the ways that Hauser hopes to help the teams is by providing Schaeffer’s Diesel Treat 2000 for their diesel trucks. Diesel Treat 2000 is a multi-functional, ashless, all season fuel additive that is specially formulated for use with all types of diesel fuel. It contains a highly concentrated multi-functional additive package including SynShield, a proprietary lubricant that surpasses industry standards for fuel lubricity and emissions.

“Schaeffer’s Diesel Treat 2000 is another example of finding ways for the teams to save money with Diesel costs continually rising,” Hauser stated. “It’s providing our customers with savings of up to 5% across the board, and that adds up over a whole racing season. I encourage the teams to give me a call so I can help them out with hands on service. I am here to help them; I am on their team, not their payroll.”
