5NINES will provide IT services as Overture transitions to private operation

Overture Center Foundation (OCF) today announced that Madison-based 5NINES will provide information technology services as Overture Center transitions from operation by the City of Madision to the private OCF.

OCF received bids from regional and national firms but ultimately decided to go local, CEO Tom Carto said.

“To us, IT is not just an administrative function, but a crucial customer service tool,” said Carto. “We welcome nearly half a million people every year, each of them looking for amazing artistic experiences. We aim to meet their expectations in every respect, from the first time they call or visit overturecenter.com to the moment the curtain falls and they wander out into the night. The kind of IT services 5NINES provides will allow us to do that.”

Overture’s IT assets support not only its administrative office, but also customer service functions, like ticketing and email marketing, and even production activities like lighting and sound.

“5NINES is proud to be selected as Overture’s IT partner,” said John Wagner, director of business development at 5NINES. “As an active supporter of the Madison community and a patron of the arts, 5NINES looks forward to helping Overture succeed in this critical transition and for many years to come.”
