14 organizations sign on to pledge to promote bio-based power
Milwaukee, Wis. – The Wisconsin Bio Industry Alliance’s Bio Power Coalition announced today 14 new organizations that have signed on to the group’s pledge to promote bio-based power generation in Wisconsin.

“The resources that we have in Wisconsin create an opportunity for economic development and alternative power generation,” said Joshua Morby, spokesperson for the coalition. “This is an important industry for keeping dollars and jobs in state, as well as protecting our environment, and we’re pleased to have the support of these organizations.”
The WBIA’s Bio Power Coalition is a group of individuals and organization’s working together to promote the bio power industry in Wisconsin. Members of the Bio Power Coalition sign on to a pledge stating, “As a member of the Bio Power Coalition, I am committed to promoting opportunities to grow the bio power industry in Wisconsin, and recognize it as an industry that can help grow our economy and protect our environment.”
The Wisconsin Bio Industry Alliance is a diverse group of businesses, environmental groups, and statewide and local organizations that have come together to build both public and legislative awareness of the Bio Industry in Wisconsin.
