(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) – Scottsdale-based TTI Performance Systems (TTI), the worldwide leader in research-based assessment tools and job benchmarking, announced today that it is partnering with the Wisconsin-based Kern Family Foundation on the KEEN Program.

TTI founder Bill Bonnstetter said, “By utilizing the assessments and partnering with KEEN, we will be identifying engineering students who have the entrepreneurial mindset in order to better prepare them for the next four years, as many entrepreneurially minded engineering students are leaving the engineering departments for other areas of study.”

With the focus on entrepreneurial leaders becoming increasingly important as the U.S. competes to maintain its economic position in a global marketplace, Timothy J. Kriewall, Program Director of KEEN states, “The long-term goal of this project is for new engineers to catalyze a transformation in the workforce which will allow them to build economic and technical commerce in their own communities and ultimately maintain America’s standing as a worldwide technical leader.”

Through this Network, 19 universities across the country will identify the best practices in entrepreneurial education at the undergraduate level and build models that can be emulated even outside of the network.
