MADISON, Wis. — The information in your credit report can affect your ability to borrow money. To help both members and non-members learn how to protect their credit reputation, Summit Credit Union is offering a free “Credit Report: What’s Your Score?” seminar on Thurs., Sept. 30, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Participants will each receive a free copy of their credit report and be instructed how to read them. In addition, attendees will learn how to improve their credit scores and how the new credit card laws will affect them. The seminar will be held at Summit’s Waunakee branch at 304 Main St.
