Sterling Water: Culligan dealership acquires Aqua Quality of Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, WI – Sterling Water, Inc. d.b.a Culligan of Eau Claire, announces its acquisition of Aqua Quality of Eau Claire, Inc. effective Monday, November 1, 2010. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but the deal includes assets, customers, rental customers, inventory, and accounts receivable for the entire operation.

“I have nothing but great things to say about Jim Selting, the previous owner and founder of Aqua Quality, as he pursues retirement,” says Bret P. Tangley, president of Sterling Water Culligan. “While over the years we may have competed for business, I always had a deep respect for his organization. Jim’s customers can look forward to the same down-home service they had received for the last 20 years as we make this transition as seamless as possible.”

Aqua Quality of Eau Claire, Inc. serves a large geographic area with a majority of their customer base located in Eau Claire and Chippewa counties. A number of accounts are located in Rusk, Barron, Dunn, Trempeleau, Buffalo, Pepin, Clark and Taylor counties as well.

A variety of additional products and services will be made available to interested Aqua Quality customers, including a full-service website, automatic salt plus delivery service, bottled water, bottle-free coolers, extended-term service agreements and online billing systems.
