Standard Process: Named to Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies

Fourth straight year Standard Process has appeared on list

PALMYRA, Wis. (September 8, 2010)— For the fourth consecutive year, whole food supplement manufacturer Standard Process Inc. has been named to Inc. magazine’s list of the top 5,000 fastest growing private companies in America. Standard Process was number 3,930, rising 57 spots above last year.

Standard Process reported revenue growth of 35 percent from 2006 through 2009. The company also indicated total 2009 revenue over $100 million, which marked a milestone in sales for the Wisconsin-based company.

In Wisconsin, Standard Process ranks first in both revenue and number of employees among all companies in the health industry. Having been in business for more than 81 years, Standard Process is also one of the oldest of all Wisconsin companies on the Inc. 5000.

“We are excited to be honored for the fourth straight year as one of the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America,” said Charles DuBois, president of Standard Process. “Our growth reflects that fact that Standard Process is playing an increasingly important role in helping people improve their health.”

The Inc. 5000 for 2010 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. Qualifying companies have to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent (not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies.) Companies also need to have generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2006, and at least $2 million in revenue in 2009.
