ShowSpan: New Cabin & Lakefront Living Show to feature sandcastles, outdoor drill, photo demos & more April 16-18, 2010

Time to think Spring and taking the family back to the cabin….

(March 30, 2010, Milwaukee, WI) – Spring has sprung, and so has the time to get back to one of Wisconsin’s greatest pleasures – the cabin. This year, there is a new show devoted entirely to that tradition – the premiere edition of the Cabin & Lakefront Living Show. It will be held at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Expo Center April 16-18, 2010. Features include:

Fully furnished and landscaped cabin by Distinct Discovery Homes (will be built inside prior to show) with electricity, cabinets, and more.

The Beach – an indoor sandbox, featuring Sandcastle Builder Big Wave Dave Downs, who has built sandcastles worldwide on many famous beaches. Families can build sandcastles throughout the weekend – professional Sand Sculpting lessons will be held on Sunday, April 18th.

Outdoor Grilling Stage – Mad Dog & Merrill will demonstrate outdoor grilling techniques and tips on grilling various food.

Photography – Digital Boot Camp (Sunday only), Photo Design, Composition and more – sign up in advance online (additional fee & advance registration required)

Seminars – The Cabin Living Seminar Stage will feature topics including – Cabin succession planning, environmentally-sensitive lake maintenance, and more.

Exhibits include cabin rentals, designer, lakefront home furnishings, boats, docks, outdoor recreational equipment, and other products and services devoted to the cabin and lakefront living lifestyle. “Whether you own a vacation property, looking to purchase, rent, or your primary home is on one of Wisconsin’s many lakes, this show is for you,” stated show producer Mike Wilbraham. “You can shop and compare furnishings, realtors, financing, boats, and more, all in one place,” he added.

Friday, April 16 2-9PM
Saturday, April 17 10AM-9PM
Sunday, April 18 10AM-5PM
