Milwaukee, Wis. – Scheibel Halaska, a strategic marketing communications firm, is pleased to announce the newest addition to its Public Relations team, Account Executive Matthew Mente.

In this role, Mente will be responsible for planning, developing and executing media relations initiatives for clients in the manufacturing and professional services industries.

“Mente brings a well-balanced mix of experience and PR talents to the SH team,” said Mary Scheibel, principal owner of Scheibel Halaska. “He has a unique knack for developing and placing stories that accomplish targeted, strategic objectives for clients.”

Mente possess more than six years of Public Relations and Marketing experience in the Milwaukee area, with a long record of proven success securing placements in local and national press. He specializes in analyzing communications needs and integrating tactics that balance budgets, expectations and measurable results.

Prior to joining Scheibel Halaska, he managed PR activities for a number of high-profile brands, including Harley-Davidson, Johnson Controls and the Marcus Corporation. He also has experience in the manufacturing industry, having served as Marketing Manager for a concrete pumping equipment manufacturer for several years.

“Working in an agency setting on behalf of growing companies in a variety of industries is a great opportunity and a creative challenge in my career,” said Mente. “I’m passionate about learning the intricacies of highly specific industries, and I’m excited to apply my public relations expertise toward accelerating our clients’ success.”

Mente received his BA in Creative Writing from Bob Jones University, Greenville, SC.

He belongs to the Southeastern Wisconsin chapter of the PRSA. In his spare time, he does volunteer work for 88Nine Radio Milwaukee.
