ALGOMA, November 22, 2010 – The Farm Market Kitchen Incubator, a shared-use food processing incubator located in Algoma, Wis. has announced that Nutorious, LLC has been selected as their incubator graduate of the year. Nutorious, located in Green Bay, Wis., was also named as a 2010 International Finalist in the Outstanding Incubator Graduate Non-Technology category at the National Business Incubation Association International Conference held in Orlando earlier this year.

Co-owners Carrie Liebhauser and Jennifer Gille founded Nutorious, LLC in 2005. The firm graduated from the Farm Market Kitchen Incubator in 2007. Business incubation programs like the Farm Market Kitchen Incubator catalyze the process of starting and growing companies by providing entrepreneurs with the expertise, networks and tools they need to make their ventures successful. The incubator provided mentoring and support throughout the firm’s critical first years.

Nutorious manufactures high-quality confectionary nut products. Their nutritious products are gaining market share in the high-end segment of the specialty food market. Nutorious was recently selected by the National Association for the Fancy Food Trade, Inc. (NASFT) and presented the Gold sofi award for their Cranberry Orange Tango as the Outstanding Snack in 2010. The sofi Awards recognize excellence in specialty foods and beverages in 31 categories and are a coveted industry honor. “sofi” stands for Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation. Nutorious was also named the Most Innovative Product by Mintel International at the 2010 Sweets and Snack Expo.
