Miron Construction: Employees to deliver 500 turkeys to needy families for the holidays

On Tuesday, December 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Miron Construction employees will deliver 500 turkeys (totaling nearly 6,000 pounds) to Madison area community centers and hand them out to families who are in need this holiday season, along with hot chocolate and candy canes. Turkeys will be purchased from local Verona grocer, Miller’s Supermarket.

This is the second straight year that Miron Construction has donated turkeys to families in need. In 2009, Miron Construction asked employees for ideas on ways to give back to the community, and they saw a specific need to make sure that local families could enjoy a turkey dinner during the holiday season.

The media is invited to cover the drop offs at the following locations:

11 a.m.: Allied Drive Boys and Girls Club, 419 Jenewein Road

1:45 p.m.: Lussier Community Center, 55 S. Gammon Rd.

Miron Construction Co., Inc. strives to give back to, and support, the community in which they live and work. Miron is truly thankful for the business they are allowed to be a part of throughout the year, and sharing their success by helping the community is one way to show their thanks and gratitude. Miron Construction Co., Inc. is located at 8215 Greenway Blvd. in Middleton.
