March of Dimes Wisconsin Chapter: Welcomes new Milwaukee division director

(Milwaukee WI)—The March of Dimes Wisconsin Chapter announces the addition of Dana Saxton as division director for its Milwaukee Division, which includes Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Washington, and Waukesha counties.

Saxton will organize and manage all activities in the division including fund raising and volunteer development and program and community services. Among the events that the Milwaukee Division coordinates is the March for Babies held at O’Donnell Park in downtown Milwaukee on April 24th, 2010 and at the Racine Zoo on May 1st, 2010, Signature Chefs Auction at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center on October 1, 2010, and Drive for Babies at Road America in Elkhart Lake on October 16th, 2010.

Formerly, Saxton worked as the director of outreach and communications for a large membership organization in Milwaukee. During her nine years there, she received several awards for her innovative programs, community campaigns and membership growth. Prior to living in Wisconsin, Saxton owned and managed a direct mail business and was the director of marketing for a national property management company. Saxton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the College of Mount Saint Joseph.
