Trappers Turn Golf Club and Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. will host the second annual Andy North & Friends Golf Classic June 6 – 7 to benefit the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC).

The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center, the only comprehensive cancer center in Wisconsin designated by the National Cancer Institute, unites more than 280 physicians and scientists who work together in translating discoveries from research laboratories into new treatments that benefit cancer patients.

This year’s golf classic is sold out, but interested parties may donate to the cause at http://www.uwhealth.org/andynorth. The 2009 inaugural event raised $293,000 for one of the leading cancer research centers in the United States.
