Governor Jim Doyle will address the Manufacturing Matters Conference and announce details of the Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP) sustainable manufacturing pilot program tomorrow, Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at the Midwest Airlines Center in Milwaukee.
The sustainable manufacturing program builds on the Governor’s hard work over seven years to support manufacturers that are efficient and compete at the high-end. During his State of the State Address in January, Governor Doyle announced the state will invest $1.75 million through WMEP to help small and mid-sized manufacturers use sustainable practices to save money and gain a competitive edge.
