Foley & Lardner: Maria Gonzalez Knavel selected for inclusion in the inaugural class of the hNBA/ACC Executive Leadership Training Program

Foley & Lardner LLP is pleased to announce that Maria Gonzalez Knavel, a partner in the Milwaukee office, has been selected for inclusion in the inaugural class of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) and the Association of the Corporate Counsel (ACC) Executive Leadership Training Program. Gonzalez Knavel was selected amongst an elite group of Latino attorneys to participate in this new program dedicated to providing training, resources and networking opportunities to Latino attorneys across the country.

Gonzalez Knavel, Dominican Republic native, has a long track record of leadership accomplishments both within and outside the Firm. She is currently the co-chair of the Health Care Compliance and Operations Work Group and a member the Strategy Working Group. She also helped establish and previously served as the chair of the Foley Hispanic Affinity Group and now serves as an ambassador to new incoming diverse associates .

Gonzalez Knavel is also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association’s Diversity Council, as well as, its Mentoring Committee.

A leader in the industry, she has been selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2009, 2010, and 2011 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of health care and is a nationally recognized speaker on sophisticated legal issues involving the health care sector.
