Saturday Night was Original Wisconsin Duck Night at Dells Raceway Park, an ASA Sanctioned Track. The Dells weekly divisions were joined on track by the Central States Region Super Cup series.

For the sixth time this season, Rich Schumann Jr was fast qualifier in the late model division with a time of 14.335 seconds. In the Assembly Products Dash for the Cash, Cardell Potter led the field to green and was looking for another victory. With just a few laps to go, Davey Pennel in second lost control and spun both himself and Potter. Pennel took responsibility for the caution and went to the back, giving Potter the lead back. The restart opened the door for Bobby Kendall to move into second and make a bid for the lead. Kendall slid past Potter and held on to the lead for the last two laps and claimed the Fast Dash win.

In the Late Model feature, the pair of 31’s of Larry Schotten and Corey Jankowski would surround Jesse Bernhagen, after the invert from qualifying. Schotten would hang onto the lead for the early laps of the feature while Jankowski worked his way past Bernhagen. Using the outside groove to his advantage, point leader Jankowski took over the top spot. A caution late in the race, moved the field back together, and after the restart Bernhagen gave Jankowski a run for his money. Side by side they battled for the lead but it was Jankowski in front when the checkered flag flew. This was the fourth feature win for Corey Jankowski this season. Brian Hakala and Ed Jackson won their heat races.

Daron Fish was the fastest car in the Sportsman division during qualifying with a time of 15.646 seconds. During the feature event the Grabarski’s were in control, with Becky leading off the field, and brother Ron right behind her. However, just a few laps into the race, Ron passed Becky for the lead. Ron sailed into Victory Lane for his second feature win of the season and capping off a clean sweep for the night.

Brad Luck returned to the track this week with a fast qualifying time of 16.008 seconds. Pure Stock points leader, Dave Trute started his night with a mechanical failure during practice. Newcomer, Nick Lange kindly loaned his car to Trute so he could compete. Starting deep in the field for the feature, Trute had his work cut out for him in the loaner car. Rising to the challenge Trute quickly moved through traffic and just 7 laps into the race took over the lead. Despite pressure from Mark Hohl, Trute was still in front when the checkered flag waved. This is Trute’s6th feature win of the season. In Victory Lane Trute thanked Lange for loaning him the car, but joked, “Despite the win, I think you paid too much for the car!” Heat race winners were Mark Ailes and Mark Hohl.

In the Bandit Division, James Junget was fast qualifier with a time of 17.620 seconds. During the feature event, Todd Kolpien led the field to green. Josh Bisbee quickly maneuvered through traffic and with a little more than half of the race to go took over the lead. Meanwhile fast qualifier, James Junget was working his way through the field, and with just 2 laps to go moved into second behind Bisbee. Junget ran out of time and Josh Bisbee picked up his first feature win of the season. Hunter Johnson, Todd Kolpien, and Josh Bisbee won the heat races.

Jarrod Pritchett won the Central States Region Super Cup Junior division feature. In the Adult Division, Ed Ensor won the feature.
