OAK CREEK – Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announces that his office has settled a case involving violations of Wisconsin’s air pollution laws against McAdams Graphics, Inc., an Oak Creek commercial lithographic printing operation that produces materials for magazines, catalogs, and newspaper inserts.

The civil complaint, filed in Milwaukee County, alleges violations of Wisconsin’s air pollution laws stemming from violations of the company’s air permit to operate its lithographic printing presses. The company has agreed to pay $40,000 in total forfeitures and penalties.

The settlement was approved by Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Thomas R. Cooper on August 6, 2010. Assistant Attorney General Cynthia R. Hirsch prosecuted the case.
