West Allis, Wis., May 7, 2010 – The 10th Annual Date with a Plate celebration presented by ABCD After Breast Cancer Diagnosis, specializing in one-to-one support for those affected by breast cancer, will take place on Friday, May 7, 2010.
The festivities will kick-off with a motorcycle ride led by Gail Lione, President, Harley-Davidson Foundation and Julie Tynion, ABCD board member, who together serve as co-chairs of this year’s Date with a Plate. Riders will be welcomed at 5:15 p.m. at The Garage at the Harley-Davidson Museum® campus, located at the crossroads of 6th and Canal Streets in Milwaukee.
The blue jeans bash will feature small plate tastings from top area restaurants and runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Attendees will enjoy wine and beer tastings, silent auction, live music and cooking by the presenting chef of the evening, Joe Bartolotta of the Bartolotta Restaurant Group.
