Aegis Corp.: Announces new hire

Aegis Corporation, which provides a broad base of insurance programs and services designed specifically for public entity clients, announced today the addition of Theresa Clarke to their staff as a sales consultant.

“Aegis Corporation is committed to assisting our clients to ensure they are well protected from risk,” said Aegis Corporation Executive Vice President John Dirkse. “The addition of Theresa Clarke to our staff will allow us to expand our reach to even more units of government and public entities and empower them with the tools they need to best serve their constituents. With her background and expertise, she is a perfect fit for us and we welcome her to Aegis.”

Ms. Clarke’s new duties include selling claims handling services for self-insured workers’ compensation and liability insurance (third party administration services). In addition, she will work to promote the training services of Aegis Corporation.

Prior to joining Aegis Corporation, Ms. Clarke was with Timber Creek Resource, where she successfully launched a new packaging supplies division from the ground up. For the six years prior to Timber Creek, she has worked for both United Heartland and Travelers Insurance as a workers’ compensation claim case manager.

“As we work with a greater segment of the private sector, the addition of Theresa will help us to continue to grow our third-party and risk management services group,” said Aegis Corporation President Robert Wurtz. “I am confident she will be an integral part of our growth strategy in these areas and we are thrilled to have her on board.”

Aegis Corporation specializes in the development and implementation of association and alternative-risk financing programs, as well as in providing a full line of business insurance coverages.
