MADISON—Get a true insider’s view of Wisconsin’s current and future economic conditions from Dr. Charles Evans, president and CEO, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Federal Open Market Committee Member, at the upcoming Wisconsin Economic Forecast Luncheon. Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle will also speak at this event, held Jan. 15 at the Monona Terrace Conference Center, Madison.

Evans will discuss how the new administration in Washington will likely respond to the current economic downturn, in addition to his report on Wisconsin’s economy and what Badger State residents can expect in the next several months.

Jeff Mayers, president of WisPolitics.com and WisBusiness.com, will provide the welcoming remarks as well as introduce Governor Doyle and Dr. Evans. The event will be presented in an executive briefing format in deference to the busy schedules of attendees.

This annual luncheon, sponsored by Wisconsin Bankers Association and Wisconsin Realtors Association, has over 400 business and community leaders from across Wisconsin already registered to attend.

Kurt Bauer, Wisconsin Bankers Association president/CEO will be available before and after the luncheon to offer the unique perspective of bankers on the current economic conditions and the comments provided by Dr. Evans or Governor Doyle.
