WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — The Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort, America’s largest waterpark resort, located in Wisconsin Dells, is planning to unveil several new amazing and fun attractions by early July. They include:

Wilderness Canyon Zip Line Adventure

If you are a thrill seeker, be sure to check out Wisconsin’s first tree top zip lining adventure spanning nearly 2,500 feet. Take the plunge from the Wilderness’s five, 65 foot tall towers that rise above the Dells’ famous Lost Canyon, which has depths of up to 50 feet, making some of the zip line over 100 feet above ground level. The five zip lines run 356 feet, 314 feet, 488 feet, 426 feet, and the longest zip is 907 feet, which is over 3 football fields! The weight restriction for the zip line is between 70 and 270 pounds. It will cost $30 for adults staying at the resort and $40 for adults from the general public; $20 for children ages 8-11 staying at the resort and $30 for children from the general public. All children will need to be accompanied by an adult at the drop off and pick up points.

Lost World Jurassic Mini Golf

You’ll be thrilled to know that Wilderness Resort has added an 18 hole Jurassic themed outdoor mini golf course this summer by the Lost World outdoor waterpark. Mini golf will cost Wilderness guests $6 for adults, $5 for children 6-11 and will be free for kids 5 and under.

Lost World Go-Karts & Lost World Kiddy Karts

Get ready for some serious kart-racing fun at the Wilderness’s new Lost World Go-Karts, located by the Halley’s Comet Waterslide in the Lost World outdoor waterpark. Double Karts will require a driver that is a minimum of 54” tall and a passenger that is a minimum of 36” tall. Double Karts will cost $6 for Wilderness guests to ride. Single Karts will require a driver that is a minimum of 54” tall, and will cost $5 for Wilderness guests to ride. Kiddy Karts, for children ages 4-7, will cost $5 for Wilderness guests.

Wild West Bumper Boats

The resort has converted The Surge wave pool in the Wild West Waterpark into a bumper boat haven. Come crash into your friends and have a splashing good time getting wet. The minimum height requirement for this ride will be 48”, and it will cost $4 per Wilderness guest.

Wild Abyss and Wild Buccaneer Receive Rave Reviews

It’s official, guests of the Wilderness love the resort’s two new indoor, black light mini golf courses, The Wild Abyss (featuring real sharks) and The Wild Buccaneer, a pirate-themed course. Both have intense 3-D graphics and obstacles that will amaze you and challenge your skills. These mini golf courses are part of a new Wild Fun Pass which costs $10 plus tax for resort guests. It includes nine holes of golf at both the Wild Buccaneer and Wild Abyss courses, OK Corral lazer tag admission, and eight tokens to the Northern Lights Arcade.
