Sun Prairie, Wis. – Wave Wind, LLC, a leading wind energy service provider, recently completed a two-turbine upgrade at the Tehachapi Wind Farm in Tehachapi, CA. The project is part of an ongoing effort by owner/operator Windland, Inc. to upgrade the Tehachapi farm from smaller turbines to megawatt class turbines.

The project involved the erection of two 1.5 MW AAER A-1500 turbines on 80 meter towers. The turbines, which Wave Wind erected on schedule shortly after their delivery to the site, are expected to provide enough power for 900 homes.

Since 2007, Wave Wind has helped clients complete over two dozen wind energy projects on time and on budget. For information about our project history, please visit http://www.wavewind-energy.com.
