This is a critical year for the Tommy Bartlett Show. Following the June 9 breach last summer, the show lost about 90% of its business. Wth Lake Delton full again, the Show is working hard to win back its audiences by getting the word out that we are back with a all-new water-ski show.

In celebration of the lake’s return, the Tommy Bartlett Show will perform FREE for audiences at both their 4:30 and 8:30 p.m. shows on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, the one-year anniversary of the lake breach. Local leaders are planning a day-long celebration and media opportunities that day, including a news conference with Governor Doyle at 11:00 a.m.

Interview Opportunity: Tom Diehl, co-owner and general manager of the Tommy Bartlett Show Tom is available for interviews about the impact of the breach and the subsequent comeback for this iconic Wisconsin attraction. With nearly empty seats last summer, there is nervous anticipation to see the grandstands filled with people again for the 2009 season. As a Lake Delton Village Board Trustee, Diehl was heavily involved in the efforts to bring the lake back in less than a year’s time.

Photo-Op: Kick off show is at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Shows run at 4:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m. daily through the rest of the summer.
