MADISON, Wis. — Nancy Kalsow, chief operations officer at Summit Credit Union, celebrates a landmark 25 years with the Madison-based financial in September.

Kalsow began her tenure at Summit Credit Union in 1984 as a phone receptionist. She started Summit’s first call center in 1991, and after leading it for 10 years, became vice president of branch operations in 2001, and was named chief operations officer in 2007. Kalsow currently oversees Summit’s training and organizational development, information technology, and internet services departments, as well as the contact center.

A resident of Black Earth, Kalsow holds an associates degree from Madison Area Technical College (MATC) and is a graduate of Wisconsin Heights High School in Mazomanie, Wis. She is actively involved in the Second Harvest Food Bank in Madison, Wis., where she recently assisted in the development of a helpline for the Wisconsin FoodShare program which provides advice and support to those applying for food services.
