OAK CREEK, Wis. — SU Insurance Company (SUIC) is proud to announce that A.M. Best Company has assigned a financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) and an issuer credit rating of “a-“ for SUIC’s initial rating. SUIC was formed in 2005 to directly insure policies written through its affiliates within SU Group LLC (SU Group).

SU Group was founded in 1982 by Michael H. Polaski. Headquartered in Oak Creek, Wis., SU Group is the recognized leader in equipment maintenance insurance and management services for medical, government, education, financial, and pharmaceutical markets, providing a wide range of alternatives to traditional service contracts. SU’s programs have helped thousands of organizations realize significant dollar savings and organizational efficiencies on a broad array of technical and administrative equipment.

Mr. Polaski, CEO of SU Group, said he is pleased with A.M. Best’s decision.

“I am enthusiastic because this will allow SUIC to provide its coverage directly to both large and small customers and further enhances SU Group’s presence in the marketplace, allowing the company to meet future goals and objectives,” he said.

Joseph Fallico, President of SU Group, stated that the favorable rating will improve SU Group’s offerings to agents, brokers, and intermediaries nationwide distributing an array of insurance and technical services within the SU market niche.

“Although financial stability has never been a concern for us, this rating provides confirmation of that in a way that is widely recognized in the national marketplace,” he said.

Michael J. Polaski, Director of Account Management for SU Group, will lead the marketing implementation efforts, beginning in the 4th quarter of 2009.
