MADISON, WIS. (Feb. 10, 2009) — A reorganized management and ownership team takes the reigns at Stevens Construction Corp. The result of a planned succession, the new leadership group is composed of Mark Rudnicki, CEO and Treasurer; Geoffrey Vine, President; Glenn Hofer, Project Executive; and Brian Wagner, Vice President of Preconstruction.

“We have reorganized under the unified, singular focus to be the best General Contractor in the business,” said Vine. “This commitment will enable Stevens to leverage its building expertise and deliver the most value to every project we touch, which is exceedingly more important in today’s economic climate.”

Rudnicki said, “We have an outstanding team of employees that embrace both a hard work ethic and drive to bring more to the relationships we serve. By channeling all our energies on Steven’s core competencies, we can take that to the next level—further enhancing the quality of a client’s project while scouring the project for cost savings that may otherwise go unrealized. As a result, we see economic tough times as another opportunity to shine.”

Rudnicki, Vine, Hofer, and Wagner bring 46 years of combined experience as both employees and shareholders of Stevens. As the stewards of Stevens, they are eager to write the next chapter in Stevens’ growth as a General Contractor.

“We are excited not only about the opportunities we’re pursuing, but also about working alongside those who will help make them happen, including owners, developers, architects, bankers, subcontractors, our communities and employees,” said Wagner. Hofer added, “Building is what we do, it’s what we love, and we are dedicated to bringing that focus to the relationships we’re building,”
