(Madison, WI) A new option has just opened up to those looking for somewhere to go in the form of nightlife. It’s called Plan B. Plan B is Madison’s newest LGBT friendly nightclub that will open on Thursday August 14, 2009 at 924 Williamson Street in Madison.

Plan B is co-owned by Cory Gresen and Rico Sabatini. The two have been working on this $5 million project for the past three years. The design of the establishment is contemporary, and construction has been done using “green” building methods whenever possible.

“We’re very excited about our new club,” says Corry Gresen, co-owner of Plan B. “To our knowledge this is the first dance club that has been built from the ground up. Every other place in the area has been remodeled to make room for dancing,” adds Gresen.

The owners have worked closely with the City of Madison and the William Street Neighborhood prior to construction. A loan was also secured through the Madison Development Corporation.

“We came up with the name Plan B after the first location for the club did not work out,” says co-owner Rico Sabatini. “We also feel like plan b is the reliable option that always works out. We want our Plan B to be that place where people can always come and know they will have a great time,” adds Sabatini.

Gresen and Sabatini have agreed to offer their parking lot during Willy Street Fair to stage the bands. They also are currently planning several fundraiser events that will be donated to local charities and non-profits shortly after Plan B opens.
