Branch will feature new, video teller systems for customer convenience and fast service

BROOKFIELD – North Shore Bank today announced that it will open a full-service branch in Mequon on Aug. 14 with an updated design concept tailored for an enhanced customer experience. The Mequon branch, located at 10806 N. Port Washington Rd., will feature two remote teller systems (RTS) that allow customers to do their banking live with a banker on video. One RTS unit will be inside the building, and the other will be located outside in a drive-through lane.

“At North Shore Bank, we are constantly talking with our customers and getting their feedback on how to make their banking experiences more pleasant, helpful and convenient,” said Steve Steiner, senior vice president – retail banking for the bank. “We’re excited about the branch’s design and exciting features, and we know the Mequon community will embrace them as well.”

Personal bankers will be on hand to help customers – face to face – with their banking needs. Steiner added that the RTS units will provide customers with another banking option and make it easy for them to get in and get out even faster, if they choose.

“We look forward to serving our Mequon customers who value working with a business that is a strong, locally-owned, community-focused institution like North Shore Bank,” Steiner said.

The Mequon branch will also feature “inLighten,” a video service that shows customers the latest headlines, weather and stock prices, as well as bank news, on large flat-screen televisions as they do business at the bank. A self-service coin counter, open to the public, will also be available inside the branch. Coin-counting is free for customers.

In addition, the bank’s more than 2,000-square-foot Mequon branch features a drive-up ATM and a commercial night depository.

The branch’s lobby will be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The drive-up will be open for business Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“The Mequon branch will offer a unique customer experience and will also deliver the ‘high touch’ customer service provided at every branch in the North Shore Bank family,” said Steiner.

The new branch is Mequon’s first North Shore Bank, and the second branch in Ozaukee County. The bank’s branch in Grafton opened October 2008.

“While every community is unique, the tremendous response at our new Grafton/Cedarburg office encouraged us to open an office in Mequon,” Steiner added. “We are pleased to now offer another convenient location for the hundreds of existing customers of North Shore Bank that live in the area.”
