Media invited to cover the turkey drop-offs to families at area community centers
VISUAL
On Wednesday, December 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Miron Construction employees will deliver 500 turkeys (totaling nearly 6,000 pounds) to area community centers and hand them out to families who are in need this holiday season, along with hot chocolate and candy canes. Turkeys will be purchased from local Verona grocer, Miller’s Supermarket.
After hosting a holiday party for children at Kennedy Heights earlier in December, Dennis Lynch, GM of the Madison Area Office, decided that the company had to do more and urged other employees to share ideas and get involved. They saw a specific need for making sure that local families could enjoy a turkey dinner this holiday season.
