MILWAUKEE — Home builders, architects, interior designers, remodelers and landscapers are invited to submit entries to Milwaukee Home & Fine Living magazine’s 2009 Residential Design Awards. The competition encompasses new construction, model homes, condos, remodels, interior design, kitchens and baths, landscaping, green building and more, putting the spotlight on the most creative, quality work being done by local design professionals. Entries must be postmarked or submitted to 333 W. State Street, Milwaukee, WI 53203 by Friday, September 4, 2009.
Entry information and all necessary forms are available for download at http://www.milwaukee-home.com. The fee per entry is $45, and multiple entries are welcome. New categories this year include Best Lower Level and Best Outdoor Lighting.
Work submitted for each entry must have been completed after Sept 1, 2007 (with the exception of landscapes, which must have been completed after Sept. 1, 2006). Entries will be judged by a panel of independent, out-of-market design experts. Winning entries will be listed in the January 2010 issue, and photographs of selected projects will be showcased.
Winners will be honored at an awards banquet in October. Milwaukee Home & Fine Living magazine is published by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Specialty Media Division, which also publishes Metroparent and Wisconsin Trails magazines.
