WHAT: Employees at the MillerCoors brewery and corporate facilities in Milwaukee will honor Pizzas 4 Patriots, which is sending a shipment of beer and pizza to U.S. troops in the Middle East in time for the 4th of July. Pizzas 4 Patriots founder Master Sergeant Evans, Tom Cardella – the sponsor of MillerCoors Veteran’s Group in Milwaukee and Eastern Division Sales President, and other guests will be in attendance.
Pizzas 4 Patriots, a non-profit organization created to support our service men and women, is in its second year of delivering pizzas to the troops overseas. The organization will send more than 25,000 pizzas and 8,000 cases of Coors Light and Miller Lite to the Middle East, with the help of corporate sponsors MillerCoors, Pizzeria Uno, and DHL.
Each sponsor is contributing in different ways: MillerCoors is donating 8,000 cases of Miller Lite and Coors Light (4,000 of each) sourced from its Georgia brewery, Pizzeria Uno is providing the pizzas at cost, and DHL is delivering the products at no charge. The beer and pizza will be loaded on a DHL plane at New York’s JFK airport on June 19-20 for air transport to the Middle East.
