Racine, WI (Jan. 15, 2009) – Cyclotron Products, a producer of industrial coolant filtration systems has returned to Racine at 1509 Rapids Drive.

The business, founded in Racine in 1978, was most recently a division of the Frank L. Wells Company in Kenosha. In December, local investors acquired the product line and incorporated as Cyclotron Products Inc.

Robert Weeks, who has been associated with Cyclotron for 27 years, is the company’s president. The company currently has four employees. Production started in the new location in early January.

Cyclotron produces filtration equipment that uses paper filters and centrifugal force to remove metal shavings, dirt and other unwanted materials from machine tool cooling fluids. The company’s products are used by the aircraft, automotive, machine tool, appliance and metalworking industries throughout the United States. Cyclotron also provides replacement parts and a large selection of filter bags and cartridges.
