– Public Invited to Holiday Open House to See Community and Join in Celebration –
Neenah, Wis. (November 24, 2009) – CRL Senior Living Communities, an industry innovator in independent and assisted living, will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Bella Vista and Bella Vista Manor communities with a holiday open house Saturday, December 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The public is invited to join in the celebration and see the healthcare innovations offered at Bella Vista and Bella Vista Manor, located in Oshkosh, Wis. The holiday open house event will feature healthy and whole food and refreshments prepared by CRL chefs, as well as a performance by a Christmas choir.
Personal tours of Bella Vista and Bella Vista Manor, which is housed on the second floor of the Bella Vista community, will be offered during the open house. Those attending the event will be able to participate in the season of giving by donating non-perishable food items to Bella Vista and Bella Vista Manor’s food drive benefiting the Salvation Army.
“I’m excited to be celebrating the one-year anniversary of Bella Vista and Bella Vista Manor,” says Deb Winterhack, executive director. “I remember standing here in a hard hat last summer. We have come a long way and I am filled with pride at the community and family we have become over the past year.”
Bella Vista, located at 631 Hazel Street, features 111 apartments, ranging from one to two bedrooms. It offers a full service beauty salon, fitness center, café, weekly housekeeping and customizable meal plans bringing additional conveniences to its residents. Because it is an independent and assisted living community, it allows residents to age in place with access to healthcare services when they need them. Bella Vista Manor is a secured assisted living community located on the second floor of Bella Vista. It features 36 suites and provides care for early-stage Alzheimer’s and dementia residents.
Recently, Bella Vista received an award from the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin for rehabilitated use of a facility. Bella Vista and Bella Vista Manor are located in the former Mercy Medical Center.
