Green Bay, Wisconsin — The Bay Area Humane Society (BAHS) will be participating in the traditions of Black Friday: holiday shopping, free gifts, and extra savings!

The BAHS doors will be open from noon until 7:00pm. The first 100 visitors will be greeted with a free gift: their choice of either a cat or dog stocking filled with goodies for the dog or cat on their shopping list. Inside, visitors will find BAHS’ “Kitty Treasures & Doggy Pleasures” shopping section with everything needed for pets: scratching posts, quality cat nip toys, leashes, collars and chew toys, holiday gifts and more.

BAHS will also feature gift packages with fun themes including: “I Love My Crazy Dog”, “Bath Time Fun”, “New Puppy”, and “I Love My Kitty”. These packages include a variety of items such as a crate, bed, litter pan, books, toys and more! Another popular gift item is the BAHS Pet Adoption Gift Certificate which can be attached to gift packages.

Visitors will also find a variety of attractions at the BAHS Black Friday event such as: kids’ games, glitter tattoos, refreshments, and a giving tree benefitting the homeless animals at Bay Area Humane Society. Each ornament on the giving tree will display an animal’s picture, their story, and one item on their wish list.

The Bay Area Humane Society & Animal Shelter, Inc., a non-profit organization, promotes the humane treatment of animals by strengthening the bond between people and companion animals. Nearly 6,000 companion animals are cared for each year at the shelter, funded by the generous donations of the community. The Bay Area Humane Society is not funded by federal or state government.
